Joanna Grassle Jaeger Board Chair
Joanna Jaeger is married and the mother of two children, one with autism, both with juvenile diabetes. She has been actively involved in the special needs community working as an advocate for families of children with special needs for nearly 10 years. Her association with Parents Helping Parents began in 1994 when she was a founding co-chair of the PHP Families for Early Autism Treatment (FEAT) group. A graduate of San Jose State with a degree in Chemistry, Joanna worked in the semiconductor industry in various capacities prior to being welcomed into the Parents Helping Parents network.
Robert Badagliacco Board Member
Robert Badagliacco is the Senior Vice President at Altera Real Estate. He graduated from the University of Southern California in 1993 with a BS in Business Administration with an Emphasis in Real Estate Finance. In addition to being a board member for PHP, Robert is involved in the community as a member of both the Board of Governors and the Young Executive Board at the Silicon Valley Capital Club. He lives in the Willow Glen area of San Jose with his beautiful wife Angel and their three kids: Kaitlin, Jackie, and Ryan.

Wayne Jasper is a resident of Sunnyvale, California and is actively involved in the community. He is a husband and a parent of three children. His oldest son has tuberous sclerosis, a genetic condition characterized by tumors in various organs, skin manifestations, seizures, autism, difficult behaviors and developmental delay. He currently co-facilitates PHP’s Parents of Adult Children with Developmental Disabilities (PACDD) group and serves on PHP’s Board of Directors. In the past Wayne has served as PHP’s Project Coordinator for Strategies, a statewide network of training and technical assistance centers for family resource centers, edited and published PHP’s quarterly newsletter, Special Addition, and coordinated PHP’s Support & Information Groups, and coordinated PHP’s Volunteer Program. He has served on the Board of Directors for the Combined Health Appeal of California, the National Voluntary Health Agency of California and the Tuberous Sclerosis Alliance. He has planned conferences and facilitated parenting classes for parents of children with special needs, helped in the startup of a corporate daycare, a school PTA, a corporate employee volunteer program, developed chapters for a national organization and facilitated several groups.
Dean C McCully

Dean McCully is an active member of the community as a special events program manager, fundraiser, website designer, and advocate for nonprofit groups. A graduate of University of Michigan, Dean is currently employed as a senior engineer at Cisco, where in his spare time he runs the Cisco Foundation's matching funds nomination websites and database, and is a nonprofit advocate for Cisco's Community Impact Grants system. Dean is the creator of "Take Flight for Kids", a program in which dozens of volunteer pilots are recruited to take hundreds of young people with special needs flying for 30 minute excursions to share the empowerment of flight. Dean currently owns 19 kayaks and creates large kayak-borne fundraisers and special events for persons with disabilities all over Northern California. He hopes to share his expertise in event creation to build several special events with in Silicon Valley with PHP in the near future. Education: BSEE University of Michigan.

James Quaranta

Jim Quaranta moved from Phoenix, Arizona to the Bay Area in 1985 to attend college at Santa Clara University where he studied psychology. Jim joined Intel in 1990 and has spent the majority of his career in Product Marketing for notebook computing platforms. While at Intel, Jim returned to Santa Clara University part time to complete his M.B.A. Jim met his wife Anne at Santa Clara, and they were married in 1990. They have 2 children; a son and a daughter. Their son has autism and is currently attending middle school and their daughter is in elementary school.
