Dramatic Arts Class and Performance
This is the one you’ve been waiting for! EvoLibri is teaming up with Pam Lindsay and DeAnna Pursai, founders of CAA, along with Redwood City Parks and Recreation Department, to present a two-week class for budding dramatists, comedians, videographers, scriptwriters…anyone who loves the performing arts!
Work will be on, off, and behind the camera, and everyone will have ample opportunity to try their hands at each. At the end of the camp, we will be hold a performance open to all our friends and families on Friday the 13th at 7 pm in the Veteran’s Center Theater in Redwood City.
Beyond the sheer fun of learning dramatic skills, participants will work on the following areas:
- Using Body/Voice/Facial Expression to Communicate (expressive and receptive)
- Mental and Emotional flexibility (imagination, inference and regulation)
- Collaboration and reciprocity
- High-level organization/executive functioning (strategizing)
Note: transportation to and from CalTrain in Redwood City to the recreation department may be available if we have enough demand.
