Since inception in 1979, Kidango has been firmly committed to the success and well being of each child and the family as a whole. In addition to center-based infant, toddler, preschool and school age programs, Kidango also offers Family Child Care Home Education, Early Intervention Services to children with special needs, Mental Health Services, Head Start programs and Family Support Services to meet the diverse needs of the communities we serve.

Located throughout Santa Clara County, our Family Childcare Homes provide a homey, extra cozy environment in a home setting. Curriculum is individual to each child, and students interact with a wide range of ages from birth to 12 years.

Meals are cooked at the home and are provided at no additional cost to parents.

All Family Childcare Homes are licensed by the state Department of Social Services and providers hold teaching permits granted by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing.

Like all of Kidango’s programs, services are provided for free or at a significantly reduced rate to income-eligible families.

Our programs are recognized and acclaimed by the California Department of Education, Children Now and the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). We are extremely proud that 33% of all Kidango centers are NAEYC accredited, which is a nationally recognized measure of quality for early childhood programs. Less than 4% of centers in California have achieved this honor.

We are proud of our long history, our strong commitment to the communities we serve and our quality educational programs and support services. We have prepared thousands of children throughout the years for academic success, personal growth and strong social relationships, while providing families with the support and resources they needed to also become successful and productive citizens in our communities.
