Mariposa Family Resource Center

Mariposa Safe Families has developed a Family Enrichment Center (FEC) for the communities of Mariposa County through the collaborative efforts of partner agencies. A Family Enrichment Center, also known as a Family Resource Center, is a welcoming place where people can find services and activities that will support and enrich their families.

Family support activities (youth-oriented programs) are underway, such as:

• Club Live
• Friday Night Live
• Halloween Carnival
• Mandated Reporter Training
• Parenting education
• Safe at Home Fairs
• Shaken Baby Training
• The yearly Daddy Daughter Dance

The Family Enrichment Center can provide Information and Referral Services as well as a Neighborhood Information Center, where computers with access to high-speed Internet access are available for public use.
