National Brain Tumor Society (NBTS) is fiercely committed to finding better treatments, and ultimately a cure, for people living with a brain tumor today and anyone who will be diagnosed tomorrow. This means effecting change in the system at all levels.

Our Value to the Brain Tumor Community

We are in the unique position to affect change across the drug development, policy and legislative, research, and clinical trial systems at all levels. We don’t focus on a single method or approach to defeating brain tumors. We drive a multi-faceted and thoughtful approach to aggressively influence and fund strategic research and discovery, as well as advocate for public policy changes, in order to achieve the greatest impact, results, and progress for brain tumor patients. Money raised by the generous donations of our supporters has directly funded groundbreaking discoveries, programs, clinical trials and policy initiatives.

The NBTS Patient Services Department offers top-notch resources and caring support for everyone affected by brain tumors. We focus our services on patient education, patient support, and community programs. Each month, our Patient Services team responds to more than 1,000 inquiries. We empower patients and their families with easy access to information – online, in print and through our Patient Services Line (800-934-2873). We make sure that families and caregivers have the best possible support systems available, including treatment center information, direct services online, access to support groups, local programs, and a trained staff that is available to answer questions from patients, families, and health professionals.
