Raising the Whole Child: Putting Disability in Perspective presented by LD/ADD Support Group

Consider how understanding one’s emotions regarding a child’s disability can help or hurt that child in coping with his or her learning challenges. There is much more to your child than their disability. Discuss methods to enable the child to build important skills for success.

Please arrive early. Sign in is from 7:10-7:25pm. The lecture begins promptly at 7:30. The individual lecture is $12 for both PHP members and non-members. PHP members may purchase the complete series of 9 lectures for $25. PHP membership is $50 per year. You may become a PHP member (or renew your expiring membership) and purchase the complete lecture series during registration before the evening’s lecture.

A free parent-to-parent discussion precedes each lecture from 6:10-7:15. This discussion is free. You are welcome to attend both lecture and parent support group, or either one. See the separate Calendar listing for more information on this parent-to-parent discussion.

PLEASE NOTE that the PHP LD/ADD Lecture Series and Parent Support Group meetings for the '07-'08 school year will be held on the 2nd TUESDAY OF THE MONTH, September 2007-May 2008 .
