IEP Clinics at DREDF on the first Tuesday of every month.

  • 30-minute appointments from 10am-2pm At DREDF: 2212 Sixth St., Berkeley CA 94710.

At your appointment with an Education Advocate you can:

  •   Learn how to create an effective Individualized Education Program (IEP) for your child with a disability.
  •  Strategize about an upcoming meeting.
  •  Discuss specific questions regarding your child’s IEP.

  •    Free IEP Clinics are scheduled by advance appointment only!
  •   You must bring your child’s IEP! Supporting documents can help.

 Disability Rights Education & Defense Fund (DREDF) is a non-profit national law and policy center furthering the civil and human rights of individuals with disabilities. DREDF Parent Training & Information (PTI) Center Education Advocates serve families of children with disabilities and professionals who work with them in Alameda, Contra Costa and Yolo counties.DREDF Foster Youth Resources for Education (FYRE) serves caregivers of children with disabilities in foster care, foster youth with disabilities, and professionals in Alameda County.
