LD/ADD Lecture Series: Facilitating Successful Student Transitions
Tue, May 11, 2010: 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm
We end our season looking ahead: what can we do to help students feel comfortable and prepared to transition from grade to grade, elementary to middle to high school and beyond? We will discuss appropriate accommodations and IEP goals that foster successful transitions. We will also address the importance of self-advocacy skills and exploration of various post graduation options.
