This conference will focus on communication and scheduling tools for nonverbal and language delayed students, and will include lecture and demonstration of a range of AT from simple pictures to more complex communication devices. Strategies for successful implementation will also be discussed. Software demonstration to include picturesupported programs specifically designed for visual learners to enhance vocabulary, beginning reading (phonics & sight words) and writing.

CEUs will be available through San Jose State University. Each conference, at five hours seat time, is .5 credits. Up to 2 credits may be earned for attendance at all four conferences. Forms will be available the day of the conference and must be completed and submitted with payment on each conference day.

Check or credit card only. No P.O.s will be accepted. No refunds; however you may send a substitute in your absence or attend a remaining conference in the series, space permitting.

Lunch is on your own (45 min.). You may either bring your lunch and eat in our cafeteria style kitchen (vending machine snacks available), or make a quick trip to a nearby sandwich/fast food shop.
