Movie Night "Temple Grandin"
For October we will watch the movie Temple Grandin.
"Temple Grandin paints a picture of a young woman's perservance and determination while struggling with the isolating challenges of autism at a time when it was still quite unknown. The film chronicles Temple's early diagnosis; her turbulent growth and developmnet during her school years; the enduring support she received form her monther, aunt, and her science teacher; and her emergence as a woman with an innate sensitivity and understandng of animal behavior."
We welcome parents, caregivers, and professionals of children with autism
spectrum disorders or developmental delays in communication, behavior,
and social skills.
PHP provides a forum for parents and professionals to get information.
