Writing Through Music: Writer’s Workshop Series, Session 1

Thu, Mar 25, 2010: 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm

EvoLibri’s Writer’s Workshop Series are for neurodiverse teens ages 16 through 22, who wish to become better writers. These classes are appropriate for anyone who WANTS to learn to write better, regardless of skill level.

Writing is much easier when it is about something you have a passion for! You will bring a copy and lyrics of a favorite song, and then will be part of a role-play about music censorship. Based on what you say to "defend" your song against possible censorship, you will compose a VERY persuasive letter arguing that your song should not be censored. In a fun and creative atmosphere, your ability to write argument should improve in ways that you can take with you to school, work and home.

PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. Send email to info@evolibri.com for details.
