This beginner‐level workshop will help answer many questions faced by parents of young

children with communication delays. We will present strategies to support pre‐talkers in the home setting, including visual schedules, basic assistive technology, conversational strategies and more. We will also discuss basic differences between intervention packages such as the Hanen Program, the SCERTS Model, Applied Behavior Analysis, etc. Participants will make a basic communication tool to take home.

CEUs will be available through San Jose State University. Each workshop, at three hours seat time, is .3 credits. Forms will be available the day of the conference and must be submitted with payment to SJSU directly.
