- How do we know to what our children are entitled?
- When do they qualify for Medi-Cal and even Medicare?
Judith Greenwalt, Social Security Representative, will help parents demystify the system. When to apply, how to keep benefits in order, what is required by the payee and more.
- When a parent retires or dies, how does that affect a permanently disabled child’s SSI ?
- What happens if your adult child gets a job?
- Can your son or daughter have money in the bank?
- What do you do if s/he does?
Come and get answers to these questions, bring your questions and leave with an improved understanding of the systems.
Judith will not be able to address individual cases in a group setting.

Families that have children that are not regional center clients find some of our meetings helpful and are welcome to join at any event.
The speaker series typically meets on the third Wednesday of each month, though we do host special events on the weekends and on days that work for a particular highly sought after speaker. They are held at Parents Helping Parents, except in July and August when we take the summer off.
Our families come together at a potluck quarterly, usually in March, June, September and December. Bring a pizza, or whatever you like, and your own beverages. We need to know how many people to expect, so please RSVP.
Please RSVP for all Events by adding yourself below or by calling PHP to reserve a place.
