ASD Interventions: Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Visual Supports

The Stanford Autism Center at Packard Children’s Hospital is offering a 10-part educational series for parents of children and adolescents with a diagnosis of an Autism Spectrum Disorder. The series is designed to provide parents with information about ASD diagnoses, treatments and services.
 
In this class, review communication based interventions (e.g. includes PECS & SCERTS), occupational therapy-based interventions (e.g. including motor skills development and Alert System) and introduce visual supports (e.g. choice boards, schedules and timers).
