Please register for this workshop as we start the journey of learning advocacy skills. This workshop is based on the book by Pete and Pam Wright titled; From Emotions to Advocacy. Each month we move through the book chapters like a book club, only you aren't required to do the reading; instead we'll have a discussion.

The group may include parents brand new to the process as well as parents with many years of experience.

You'll take home slide handouts and topical handouts that relate to the topics in the chapters we cover. this month we start at the very beginning of the book learning about the how and why of advocacy.

Please plan to stay after the workshop from 8:30 to 9:30 for lively conversation and problemsolving ideas. 

You are welcome to attend any of the workshops, and do not need to come to every one to benefit. I am one of the long time members of the Education Department at PHP with years of experience in the advocacy field.
