Tue, Feb 26, 2013: 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm

Animals can help reduce anxiety and fear, increase self-confidence and be motivational. Understand how therapy dogs are used in our classrooms and other programs.

The instructors for this course are:

Specializing in educational evaluations and treatment for school-age children, Ann is very effective helping kids who are anxious and depressed. She coordinates the Animal-Assisted Therapy programs at CHC.

Jeannie Eagan, CPDT-KA, Certified Professional Dog Trainer, Knowledge Assessed AKC Canine Good Citizen and STAR Puppy Evaluator.
Jeannie has trained dogs professionally since the 1970s and with her Newfoundland, Annie, volunteers extensively as a Therapy Dog Team.
