Reading and Writing Software to Support Struggling Students, 3rd Grade and Up

Thu, Mar 1, 2012: 10:00 am to 12:00 pm

This introductory workshop will explore software programs that address reading and writing challenges for students with learning disabilities and answer questions such as: What is electronic text and how do I get it? How does a simple text-to-speech program differ from a comprehensive one? How would it benefit my child or student?

Join Jan Tuber in this two-hour presentation in which she will demonstrate and explain the features of the most frequently-used software programs, including text-to-speech, graphic organizing software and word prediction.
