The PHP Community Disability Library is a unique resource for disability-specific conditions. In many instances, this is the first place where parents come when their child has received a diagnosis. We offer up-to-date materials not usually found in other public libraries or in local bookstores.
The PHP Community Disability Library provides a resource of over 4,000 books/videos/DVDs to parents and professionals on the special needs of children and their families. We also offer Internet and Wi-Fi services. Our librarian, Judy Bower, firstname.lastname@example.org is here to assist you between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM Monday through Wednesday and Friday.
Check Out Policy: You need to come in person to borrow books and DVDs/videos from the PHP library. Each check out is for three weeks and requires a credit card number (or cash/check) that will be placed on file as a nonactive deposit. Overdue fees are $0.50 per item per day. If materials are lost or damaged, the borrower is responsible for replacement or repair costs.
PHP Members may check out: A combination of any five (5) items
Non-Members may check out: Two (2) library items
