SJSU Pediatric Occupational Therapy Clinic
Purpose: To prepare our undergraduate and master level students in the field of Occupational Therapy in the areas of: Assessment, Intervention Planning and Treatment of the young pediatric client.
They prepare parent education in-services as well as do school/home or community based visits on their clients so to understand the functional area of need of their particular client. These OT students are in their last semester of coursework preparing for their fieldwork/internships.
Ages: Children between 30 months-12 years
The clinic is on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 3:30-4:30.
The clinic takes place in Room 114/115 and outdoor sensory motor area of the Central Classroom Building (CCB) at San Jose State University.
SJSU Parking pass for semester is provided to the family.
There is no charge for the clinic but we suggest a donation from the parents so that the clinic equipment can be maintained.
