Webinar: Apps for Apraxia and Other Special Needs

Thu, Dec 8, 2011: 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm

Webinar featuring:  Lynn Carahaly,  M.A., CCC-SLP (ASHA CEUs are available)

With the increased use of technology, particularly with iPads in special needs populations, parents and therapists are eager to learn more about these educational apps as a tool to support children's development. This webinar will specifically focus on apps that may enhance and support the speech, language and literacy development of children with CAS. While these apps are not a replacement for speech therapy, they can offer families a variety of tools to support their child’s speech and language progress. Several iPad applications provide therapists and parents convenience, organization, and even session by session data collection. Learn how children can benefit from this fast developing technology, and the many apps that are available for children with apraxia and other special needs.

Registration closes at midnight on Friday, December 2, 2011 US/EST
