Working with Tourette Syndrome (TS) and Associated Disorders
The South East Consortium for Special Education and the Northern California and Hawaii Chapter of Tourette Syndrome Association (TSA) is pleased to offer two free workshops on Tourette Syndrome and Associated Disorders.
The November 5, 2010 workshop will cover diagnosis, teaching and supporting children with TS, peer training, writing IEP to meet student’s needs, classroom strategies, and more.
The November 6, 2010 workshop is designed specifically for parents, caregivers, and siblings of children/youth and adults with TS. The workshop will cover the impact of TS on school performance, managing behaviors associated with TS, services for children with TS, supporting siblings with TS, and more.
Presenter: Susan Conners (Retired teacher; Workshop presenter on TS in the United States, Canada, and Norway; Recipient of numerous awards for work with TS).
