Dr. Moran has been involved in several statewide and national initiatives related to aging and I/DD. She was the lead author a consensus guidelines paper on I/DD and dementia published in the Mayo Clinic Proceedings in 2013 and has produced 3 Publications in collaboration with the National Down Syndrome Society: “Aging and Down Syndrome”, “Alzheimer’s disease and Down syndrome: A Practical Guide for Caregivers”, and “End of Life and Down Syndrome”. Dr. Moran has spoken extensively on a variety of topics related to older adults with I/DD.
