Neurodiverse means more than autism these days; it also includes ADHD, gifted, learning differences, anxiety and mood disorders, etc.
For parents of neurodiverse adult children: collegebound, in college or graduated, underemployed, and/or building professional careers. Like a book group but better! We attend the free monthly Stanford Special Interest Group for Neurodiversity speaker webinar organized by the Stanford Neurodiversity Project (SNP) via Zoom; and one week later we get together on the PHP NCC support group meeting via Zoom to discuss how the topic works in our lives.

Our goal is to support each other to successfully weather the ebb and flow of wins, setbacks, and societal/economic changes (COVID-19!) while in relationship with our neurodiverse adult children.
Stanford Special Interest Group for Neurodiversity speaker webinar topics:
-
Career development
-
Independent living options
-
Friendship and intimate relationships
-
Mental health tools
-
And more!

Network! With like-minded parents. We all know that most jobs are obtained via personal contact. Let’s connect on LinkedIn. Let’s get our neurodiverse adult children connected on LinkedIn, too.
-
Give back! Join the SNP Mentor Program, if desired. Training by SNP included. And informal neurodiverse adult mentoring too.
Note: For parents of regional center client adult children, please attend PHP Parents of Adult Children with Developmental Disabilities (PACDD) or the PHP Paths to Positive Adulting support groups.
