Why can’t we get along these days? What we need are skills.
From now until the end of the year, we will be taking a peaceful and insightful stroll through the landmines of everyday conversations in these challenging and uncertain times. Each session will begin with a few minutes of insight followed by time for the group to work together on the weekly topic or individual stressors you want to discuss with others who understand and share your journey.
- 11/25/2020: Building Our Skills: Finding Mutual Purpose When Conversation is Stuck in Differing Needs and Goals
- 12/02/2020: Building Our Skills: Telling our Story of What We Need and How We Feel About It
- 12/09/2020: Building Our Skills: Moving Ahead from Stuck to Action
- 12/16/2020: Putting It All Together: Celebrating Success and Anticipating New Journeys
Register to attend each week or drop in when you can!
The group is facilitated by Laura Beth DeHority, LMFT, parent to special needs young adults, and former corporate communicator. Her goal is to establish practical skills to lower parental stress in a time period unlike any other.
