Are you concerned about your young child’s development? Speech, movement, learning, behavior, play skills are of concern?
Do you have a baby or toddler who has developmental delays or a disability?

This group is for you!
PHP’s Early Childhood Program invites you to a presentation about Early Intervention Services available to babies and toddlers.

We will learn about:
– Individual Family Service Plans and how they’re created
– Your child’s rights and your rights as a parent under the IDEA (Individuals with Disabilities Education Act).
– What happens when your child approaches preschool age – will your child need an Individualized Education Program with the school district or other services?

4:00 to 5:00 Presentation
5:00 to 5:30 Support group

The Early Childhood Support Group Cafe Style! Offers a safe space where parents and caregivers can talk in a relaxed way about the challenges of raising children. We strive to create a judgment-free environment where you can share experiences and resources. You will be able to meet other parents of young children and share your great tips.

Moderated by a PHP Resource Specialist, we will share information and valuable local resources, and answer your questions too!

Join our group! Connecting with other families will help make the road so much smoother.

*This event is sponsored by the Department of Disability Services (DDS).
