Celebrating… Community | Connection | Commitment

We are THRILLED to gather with you in person for the first time in three years!

Thursday, June 2, 2022
Mexican Heritage Plaza, San Jose
5:30-8pm

Join us at the Parents Helping Parents Spring Celebration to recognize the community, connection, and commitment built by PHP over the last 46 years! We are honoring:

Apple
Building Bright Futures Award
&
Kate Weber
Heart of PHP Award

The Spring Celebration is Parents Helping Parents’ second-largest annual fundraiser! Proceeds from the event, including donations, will provide critical resources and information to families raising a loved one of any age, with any diagnosis. Thank you for your ongoing trust in PHP!

Your safety is our priority! This event will be both indoor and outdoor, with great ventilation!
If you have any questions or concerns, please email us.

The evening will begin at 5:30pm with LIVE music, a variety of heavy, passed appetizers, your drink of choice, including some unique PHP signature cocktails, dessert, and coffee! Drink tickets are required for all alcoholic beverages. Two (2) free drink tickets per paid admission are included and additional drink tickets will be available for purchase at the event. Non-alcoholic drinks, tea, and coffee are free.

After the reception, there will be a short presentation, including honoring Apple and Kate Weber, followed by a Fund-A-Need drive. The evening will conclude around 8pm when we all say farewell!

FAQ. More questions? Email us!

How do I become a sponsor for the Parents Helping Parents Spring Celebration? Thank you for your support! We have several sponsorship opportunities available! Questions? Email Shankar Sundar for more information.

At past events, individuals with disabilities attended FREE with a paid companion. Will this be available again this year? YES! Your loved one with a disability will be our guest! After you purchase your ticket(s), email Kathy Kenyon with their name and any other important information.

Can you tell me a little more about the venue? The Mexican Heritage Plaza is a San Jose gem, located in the heart of Alum Rock. We anticipate great late spring weather and will have 2-3 walls of the event space open for maximum ventilation creating an essentially outdoor event, thus making it ideal for an in-person event.

Are vaccinations required to attend the Parents Helping Parents Spring Celebration? Yes. To ensure maximum safety for individuals at home who are medically fragile, COVID vaccinations or a negative test within 24 hours of the event are required to attend this in-person event.

How is this event different from past PHP galas? Unlike past PHP galas, this event is a little more casual and shorter. Rather than assigned seating and a plated meal, you’ll be able to sit where ever you’d like and can enjoy passed appetizers at your table of choice. Bartenders will serve you beer, wine, signature cocktails, and a variety of non-alcoholic drinks. Drink tickets are required for alcoholic beverages; non-alcoholic drinks are free.

What is appropriate attire? Dresses, slacks, and jackets are appropriate. Please, no jeans, shorts, or sneakers.

Will it be easy to find parking? There are two large parking lots at the Mexican Heritage Plaza, with an ample number of disabled parking places.

Is my ticket tax-deductible? A portion of your ticket to the Parents Helping Parents Spring Celebration is tax-deductible. See your purchase receipt for details.
