E-Packets available from PHP

WEB RESOURCES NOW AVAILABLE FROM PHP: E-PACKETS

The Education Department at Parents Helping Parents has created many “E-Packets” (E for electronic) with educational resources for parents of children with special needs. E-Packets are lists of websites organized by topics related to special education laws and Individual Education Programs (IEPs). The titles on an E-Packet list are links to those websites that you can click on and go to directly from your home or public library computer.

It has been our experience that too many E-Packets can be overwhelming, as there is a great deal of information in each one. Also, the links are frequently updated, so it is best to only request E-Packets you will be using immediately. For these reasons, we will send 5 E-Packets per request.

Our grantors request certain information on the populations we are serving. All personal information is kept confidential. Items in italics below are helpful to us for keeping in touch with you, but not required. We ask that you please include the demographic information in bold below to meet the needs of our grantors:

Email your request to: info@php.com

  1. Put “E-Packets” in the subject line of your email.
  2. Include your name, address (or at least your zip code), phone number, child’s name, birthdate, disability, languages spoken at home, race, number of children and adults, in the household, whether you are contacting us as a parent or as a special education professional, and of course your e-mail address. (If you have contacted PHP before, just your name and phone number are enough.)

These are some of the current e-packets available from PHP’s Education Department:
