Parents Helping Parents is here to give YOU support, resources, and information about raising your child of any age with any disability or special needs diagnosis.

Raising a child of any age with disabilities or special needs has unique challenges and joys.  Parents Helping Parents provides YOU with support, resources, and information as you raise your child or adult of any age with any disability or special need.

PHP offers a robust menu of services and programs, including 1:1 guidance, webinars and online learning on special education, public benefits, assistive technology, and more.

PHP organizes support and information by age of child: Early Childhood, Youth & Teens, and Adults.

Together, we will address the concerns you have for your child of any age, and we will help you identify the resources to meet them.  By working together with Parents Helping Parents, you, your child of any age, and your entire family will have the tools you need for success!

PHP is also dedicated to advocating for systems change in the disability community, to providing you with the most relevant, up-to-date information in the most accessible way possible, and to empowering parents, caregivers, and professionals to be the most informed and confident as possible.

PHP staff members know what it’s like to have a child with a disability. Most of our staff members are parents of children with mild to severe disabilities and special needs.  We understand how complex and sometimes overwhelming it is to find the support, resources, and information you need for you, your child, and your entire family.  Since 1976, we have empowered tens of thousands of families like yours.
