Understanding Autism Spectrum Disorder
This autism support group for parents and caregivers is perfect for parents and caregivers of school-aged children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). It offers a great opportunity to connect with other parents and families who share similar experiences and challenges. By joining, you can find support and understanding from those who truly get what you are going through. Additionally, some meetings will feature a local professional who will present on various disability topics, which can provide valuable insights.
Moreover, we hold the meetings via Zoom, making it easy for everyone to participate from the comfort of their own homes. Specifically, we meet on the first Tuesday morning of every month from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. This schedule allows you to plan ahead and join our autism support group for parents regularly. Furthermore, two compassionate volunteer parents, Adi and Shyla, facilitate the group and are dedicated to creating a welcoming and supportive environment for all attendees.
In conclusion, whether you seek advice, resources, or a listening ear, our autism support group for parents is here for you. We encourage you to join us and take part in this supportive community. Together, we can navigate the challenges of raising awareness for children with ASD and celebrate the joys along the way.
