GROUP DESCRIPTION
This online 18-week therapy group offers a safe space that accepts and affirms who you are. You’ll have opportunities to relate to and learn from other gifted neurodivergent teens who have similar experiences and challenges. Topics that will be explored include navigating relationships and miscommunication, loneliness and building friendships, transitioning to life after high school, sensory overload, emotional overwhelm or shutdown, burnout, masking, executive functioning difficulties, and school challenges. The group is led by a therapist who will support you in developing skills to manage life and problems more effectively, improve your relationship with others, and help you understand and care for yourself better.

WHO’S A GOOD FIT FOR GROUP?
Someone who…
* Has autistic traits or a professional diagnosis of autism.
* Is a junior or senior in high school, or recently graduated high school.
* Is twice-exceptional (gifted + autism)
* Desires to connect with and relate to other neurodivergent young adults.
* Is self-reflective and wants to explore their neurodiversity.
* Wants to grow in self-understanding and self-acceptance.
