Please join the Family Resource Center (FRC) of San Mateo County as we host an online discussion on navigating the transition to adulthood process for our teenagers with disabilities.
Topics to be discussed include: conservatorships, independent living, post-secondary education, vocational services, recreation and socialization, and more.
Our guest speaker for the evening will be Sue Digre, Director of Family Support Services, with PARCA (Parents and Advocates for Remarkable Children and Adults). Sue brings a wealth of knowledge to the table, having decades of experience navigating and advocating for families within San Mateo County’s disability system.
This discussion is intended for parents of children and young adults with disabilities, ages 14 to 22, and the professionals serving these families.
