Education Advocacy Workshop

Understanding your rights and the rights of your child is important in the special education process. A review of your rights will help you fully participate in the education program planning and development process. Take home a copy of the complete 'Model Form' from the Office of Special Education Programs.

Emphasis will be on General information, confidentiality of information and overview of Complaint procedures.

Stay after the workshop to share information

Parents and professionals of all levels are welcome.

I'mprove your knowledge and learn information that helps you participate actively in your child's educational program planning.

Take home helpful handouts related to the topic.

Stay after the workshop to meet other families from your community.

Coffee, Tea and a light Dessert will be offered

A suggested donation of 10.00 is asked, financial scholarships are avialable for those with financial need
