Please join the Family Resource Center (FRC) of San Mateo County for this online training on an overview of the special education process.
Your child has the right to a Free and Appropriate Public Education (FAPE) in the Least Restrictive Environment (LRE). We will learn about the Individualized Education Program (IEP), your rights at an IEP Meeting, Goals & Objectives, Section 504, due process, mediation, and compliance complaints. Come learn about those rights, processes, and services your child is entitled to under special education law.
This training is intended for parents/caregivers of children with disabilities, and professionals who work with these families.
