We are offering groups that combines movement and language to increase your child’s social skills. Blossoms group is for ages 7-9. Branching out is for ages 6-7.  Classes provide opportunities to practice and use social language and skills within movement activities and games. Emphasis will be placed on playing with peers, good sportsmanship, how to enter and exit play, problem solving and negotiations, perspective taking, turn taking, sharing, and cooperation.  Lessons and activities will also be provided on recognizing and regulating alertness levels.  Classes utilize simple gross motor games, games often played at birthday parties, common recess games, and board games to teach new skills.
