Speech Therapy
A licensed Speech Therapist will provide individual or small group (2 children) speech therapy. The program aims to improve speech, language, and socio-pragmatic skills. At the end of the week, you will be provided with a superbill that can be used to seek reimbursement through your insurance.
Movement Therapy
Most children on the spectrum struggle with motor planning and body rhythm. Improving motor planning and body rhythm will lead to overall progress. Our music and movement therapy will be led by a Gymnastic teacher. This will aid in sensory integration and build core strength. At the end of the week, you will be provided with an invoice that can be used to seek reimbursement through the regional center.
Occupational Therapy
We will have an occupational therapist who will come once or twice a week to guide us with gross and fine motor activities. The teacher’s aide will work with the children to practice these activities every day. You will be provided with a superbill that can be used to seek reimbursement through your insurance.
Integration
Every day, neurotypical elementary and middle school children will participate in the summer camp. Each autistic child will be paired with a buddy whose role is to assist them, facilitate play, establish a stable relationship, and consequently improve their socio-emotional skills.
