Camp Ramah Northern California – Amitzim Tikvah Summer Camp

Camp Ramah in Northern California engages the members of our camp community in joyful, transformative experiences that serve as a model for lifelong Jewish learning and practice, commitment to Klal Yisrael (Israel and the Jewish community), and Tikkun Olam (repairing the world). We do this by offering a unique camping experience that blends intensive specialty programming with cherished Ramah traditions.

We are proud to offer a two and four week program for campers with special needs at Camp Ramah in Northern California.

Amitzim
This program primarily serves campers with mild to moderate intellectual and developmental disabilities.  Most campers in our summer camp program are roughly in grades 4-12, but the most important factor is fit not grade level. Ezra
We are also excited to offer a vocational program for young adult campers (ages 18 to 26) with special needs. We are fortunate to have many individualized internship opportunities, and we pair each Ezra camper with a personal mentor to create a meaningful and rewarding experience as part of their participation in our camp community. From horse care to administrative tasks and everything in between there are opportunities abound. Interested families should contact our Tikvah Director, Deret Musselman, at [email protected] for more information.
