Ellen Reinstein Cookman is certified by the State Board of Legal Specialization as a specialist in estate planning, trust and probate law.  She prepares revocable living trusts, durable powers of attorney and advance health care directives for families in all stages of life, as well as irrevocable trusts for tax planning and special needs planning purposes.

Ellen enjoys helping families with special needs situations, including preparing special needs trusts and establishing of conservatorships. She regularly gives presentations on estate planning and special needs planning to non-profit organizations and parent support groups.  In her free time, Ellen helps to run a volunteer Sunday school program for children with special needs, and she enjoys spending time with her husband, sons Caleb and Isaac, and boxer/pit bull mix Ulysses.
