The Mission of DreamPower Horsemanship is “Building lives filled with DREAMS, and the POWER to make dreams come true.” We accomplish our Mission through equine-assisted activities and therapies as well as animal-assisted therapy and other mental health services for children, teens, adults, individuals, groups and families.

Programs
Equine-assisted Psychotherapy
Individual, group and family counseling and psychotherapy for children, teens, adults and elders. Fee: $90-$180 per 50-minute individual session. Group fees vary.

Horses for Warriors (military veterans)
FREE weekly support groups for military veterans from all branches and eras.

Carriage Driving Lessons
For teens, adults and elders of all abilities. Fee: $65 for 60-minute private lesson. Hitch Team: free group driving lessons for DreamPower volunteers, meeting Sundays 3-5 pm. Contact Garry Stauber for more information.

Vaulting for Mental Health
Equestrian vaulting teaching physical and mental fitness and skills. Group classes for children and teens ages 6-18. Fee: $160 per month.

Saddle Friends
A social and emotional skill building horseback riding group for children ages 9-11 with autism and/or ADHD. Led by Dr. Cherie Page, PhD. Fee: $300 for 6 weeks of 30-minute group therapy sessions.

DreamPower Camp for Children with Special Needs
An annual one-week summer camp for children ages 5-16 with special needs. Fee: $325 for one week of camp.

Therapeutic Horseback Riding Lessons
For children age 5 and up with special needs. Initial evaluation required. Fee: $65 for 45-minute private or semi-private lesson.

Equine Empowerment for Elders
Weekly support group for elders with high-functioning dementia. Fee: $65 for 60-minute group session.

Plucky Ponies
A therapeutic group supporting children experiencing anxiety, led by Dr. Cherie, Page, PhD. Fee: $295 per month.

Modern Abstract Pony Art
Acrylic on canvas abstract paintings by the DreamPower horses. Modern Abstract Pony Art Auctions are held twice each year.

The LEOS (Law Enforcement Officer Support) Project
Individual, group and family counseling for law enforcement officers and their families.

Volunteer Opportunities
Potential volunteers age 14 and up are invited to attend a New Volunteer Orientation (held monthly). High school, college and community service hours available.

Leadership 2 Partnership
Ground-based horse-handling classes for current DreamPower volunteers. These classes are FREE for current volunteers. Beginners: Thursday 9-10 and Saturday 9-10 am. Advanced: Thursday 10-11 and Friday 4:30-5:30.
