Exceptional Minds is an academy and studio preparing young adults on the autism spectrum for careers in animation, visual effects, 3D gaming and other related fields in the entertainment industry. We provide technical and work readiness training customized to help students achieve their full artistic and professional potential.

Exceptional Minds is comprised of a vocational academy, post graduate program, and professional post-production studios.

The Academy

The academy provides technical and work readiness training customized to help students achieve their artistic and professional potential with small group instruction in a full-time three-year program, private lessons, and part-time summer workshops.

Post-Graduation Programs

Our post-graduate programs provide additional customized training. Graduates choose a track and are evaluated and supported to help better prepare them for careers in their specific area of interest.

The Studio

The Exceptional Minds professional studio animation and post-production services for partners and employs graduates of the academy. We provide work for top-tier companies like Disney, Sony, Netflix, NBCU, Sesame Workshop and more.

Exceptional Minds is committed to creating a world in which individuals on the autism spectrum are recognized for their talents and abilities and can achieve their full potential.
To provide individuals on the Autism Spectrum with customized instruction and hands on experience to earn a living in the fields of multi-media, computer animation and post production.

Staff has digital arts expertise as well as experience working with teens and adults with ASD.

To apply for Summer Workshops, a one-time virtual meeting is required.
