The Accessible Education Center (AEC) at Gavilan College provides programs, services and support to help students with disabilities succeed in school. We strive to equalize student educational opportunities and improve access so that every student can participate fully in all aspects of college programs and activities. Special Careers – This program is offered on campus for the High School special education class graduate or equivalent who may require additional specialized instruction or training for appropriate entry-level employment. Practical job preparation and independent living skills are emphasized in a series of classes designed for individualized progress.
