A non-profit clinic, school, and community

Provides diagnostic and rehabilitative services for children and adults with hearing and speech or language disorders. Offers hearing aid consultation and dispensing, speech and language therapy, a speech pathology clinic, a preschool program for hearing handicapped children under age 3 and oral education classes for deaf children. Also offers evaluation, consultation and a support group for people with tinnitus.

The Auditory Oral School of San Francisco provides high-quality, intensive auditory-oral education for infants and toddlers from birth to age three with hearing loss. The goal of our auditory oral school is to help children who are deaf or hard of hearing learn to listen using technology (such as hearing aids, cochlear implants, or bone-conduction hearing aids) with the goal of preparing them to participate in a mainstream classroom.

Translations available: American Sign Language, Mandarin, French, Cantonese, Spanish, Taiwanese. Fees vary according to service; no one is refused service due to inability to pay. Medi-Cal, Medicare and private insurance accepted.

Staff include Speech/Language Pathologists, Audiologists, Social Workers, Teachers.
