The Hemophilia Foundation of Northern California is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization serving the needs of people with hemophilia and related bleeding disorders such as Von Willebrand Disease. HFNC is dedicated to improving the lives and increasing the independence of kids and families challenged by bleeding disorders. Since 1958, the grassroots organization has worked at the local level, providing consistent support, education, community-building programs, healthcare advocacy and impartial referrals.

Camp Hemotion is an annual weeklong residential summer camp serving approximately 100 young people, ages 7-20, living with bleeding disorders, known carriers, and their siblings. One of the first camps to focus on this constituency in the country, Camp Hemotion is widely recognized as a model program. Description of camp available in Spanish
