Property Development

Home Sharing is a living arrangement among two or more unrelated people. Home owners or renters (Home Providers) who have a residence with one or more bedrooms are matched with persons seeking housing (Home Seekers)

The Self Sufficiency Program (SSP) provides housing assistance and support services to low-income parents who are in school to increase their earning power and become financially self-sufficient within 1-2 years. Participants receive subsidized rent while they complete an education or job training program and find employment in their field.

HIP Housing sees Property Development as a great opportunity to preserve and expand the affordable rental housing stock available in San Mateo County.  By partnering with local municipalities, private funders, banks and other institutions, we are able to purchase and rehabilitate properties that our tenants are proud to call home.
