Le Blanc Consulting provides the village of support necessary. We also know that fulfilling multiple roles can be a challenge for any parent, and it often cannot be achieved alone, therefore, we provide wrap around support groups. Parenting Classes Our Positive Parenting Classes are designed to improve and strengthen the parent child relationship Our goal is to help caregivers learn to look at their own beliefs and expectations about children. Through an interactive process with class participants caregivers learn to:

• Recognize their own stress and particular techniques to de-stress
• Understand developmental stages
• Effectively communicate and listen
• Encourage and focus on the child’s strengths and assets
• Set appropriate boundaries

Regular classes are 12 weeks long and taught in English. Infant Toddler parent coaching and classes are 6 weeks long and are taught in English. The 8 week class series are taught in Spanish. These classes are appropriate for all types of families – new parents, foster and adoptive parents, relative caregivers, parents of teens and of course LGBT parents are absolutely all welcome.
