What is Inclusion?

Inclusion means all participate and all belong.

The National Inclusion Project works every day to make the inclusion of children with disabilities a reality. Since our inception, we have made a real impact by ensuring that children nationwide can experience all that life has to offer.

Our mission: The National Inclusion Project serves to bridge the gap that exists between young people with disabilities and the world around them. We partner with communities and inclusive programs creating  awareness about the possibilities that inclusion can bring.

Let’s ALL Play provides training, resources, and partnerships for recreational programs that are currently serving children with special needs and wish to do it better or programs seeking to open doors currently shut to children with special needs in their community. We strive to meet programs where they are. Interested programs can be assured that we will work to provide you as much help as we can.

Let’s ALL Play includes inclusive modifications that work for programs overall or individuals in your program as well as inclusive games and activities that benefit ALL children. Counselors have reported that Let’s ALL Play modifications and games have made an overwhelmingly positive difference in the recreational experience for all children. Children with and without disabilities have seen dramatic growth in motor skills as well as improvement in social skills, self-esteem, compassion, and understanding.

A donation to SEND A KID TO CAMP supports activities that make it possible for a kid with disabilities to play, learn, and make friends with their peers at a recreational program in their community. These activities could include one on one consultation with the program, customized staff training (virtual and in-person), education resources, best practices, in-person program evaluation, Power of Play Conference, Accreditation, small group workshops for staff, and so much more. With your help, kids with and without disabilities can laugh, learn and play TOGETHER.
