Parent to Parent of Miami

Parent to Parent of Miami, Inc. is a Community Parent Resource Center serving Miami-Dade and Monroe counties, funded by grants from the U.S. Department of Education Office of Special Education Programs, The Children’s Trust, various foundations and your donations.

Our program is a community-wide, tax-exempt, non-profit organization that provides information, educational training and support to families who have children and adults with disabilities and/or special needs. The majority of the Board of Trustees and staff of Parent to Parent of Miami is comprised of parents, families and professionals who have a family member with a disability. Services are provided in English, Spanish and Creole.

Thanks to the support provided by Parent to Parent of Miami, parents develop confidence and are better prepared to meet the needs of their children. A unique bonding occurs between parents, establishing an almost immediate rapport and providing a chance to share common feelings and experiences.
