Independent Or Supported Living Skills
Operating in Southern and Northern California, Passport To Learning is dedicated to assisting individuals with special needs (classified as MR, developmental disability or intellectual disability). We offer a diverse array of Social and Educational Services, providing unique programs to empower individuals with special needs to set and attain personal goals. Our business is client-oriented, and we maintain strict confidentiality.
PTL’s specialized programs include : Supported Living Services, Parenting Skills, Independent Living Skills , Adaptive Skills Training. Our business was established in 1977, and we pride ourselves on providing customers with high-quality educational and support services. Our offices are located throughout Los Angeles County, Sacramento, San Francisco and Oakland.
Regional Center Vendor of Independent Living Skills Program (ILS)
Our ILS Program focuses on functional skills instruction. Functional skills enable individuals with special needs to strive in their community with greater independence.
Training includes: learning to read consumer information, completion of applications and forms, banking skills, practical math skills, mobility skills (e.g. use of public transportation, and self-care ( e.g., grooming and hygiene), and much more. The training is tailored to the participants needs.
