Special Needs Afternoon Program (SNAP)
Redwood City SNAP is offering a Monday-Friday Afternoon Program for individuals with differing abilities ages 8 and up. The Program will be divided into age-appropriate sub-groups. The Program opens at 2pm and pick-up time is 6pm in the Sequoia Room of the VMSC in Red Morton Park. Early Bird programming may also be available for an additional fee. - Mondays: Get Moving: 2pm – 6pm $130 per month
Activities for this day are focused on adaptive fitness and health - Tuesdays: Local Adventures: 2pm – 6pm $130 per month
Enjoy a trip to a local destination. May include parks, libraries, fire stations, museums and more. - Wednesdays: At The Movies: 2 pm – 6pm $130 per month
Enjoy a mid-week film in our VMSC state-of-the-art theater. - Thursdays: Mix It Up: 2pm – 6pm $130 per month
Tap into your creative side with an arts and crafts activity. - Friday: Bowling: 2pm – 6pm $130 per month
Test your bowling skills at Bel Mateo.
Evening Classes
- Chef Club Ongoing, Thursdays, 4pm – 9pm / VMSC Kitchen / $69 per month
Designed for teens and adults ages 14+ with differing abilities, this club is perfect for anyone who has an interest in planning and cooking healthy meals. Each week, participants will plan a meal from start to finish and enjoy the fruits of their labor! After dinner, participants will engage in social activities. To register, please call Alisha at (650) 780-7343. - Evening Fitness Ongoing, Tuesdays, 7pm – 8pm / Adaptive PE Room / $20 per month or $5 drop in fee. Have fun while exercising in our Evening Fitness Class every Tuesday night. Scott Lohmann, our certified personal fitness instructor, will lead participants in safe individually tailored work-outs.
