Social Vocational Services
While large in scope with our 80 locations and growing, each individual SVS program site has its own distinctive ambience.
SVS offers a wide range of services. They include Adult Day Programs, Supported Employment, Residential, Transportation. SVS prides itself in providing quality, individualized programs for each person it serves. SVS clients choose a life style that has meaning for them and, with the assistance of their Circle of Support, design the SVS service plan they believe will help them achieve it.
SVS programs are designed for adults (age 23+) who need assistance in gaining the behavioral control, experience, training or social skills necessary for successful independent work and community integration.
- Adult Development Center: Basic functional and social skills training and paid or volunteer work. Facility and community activities according to individual consumer choice and need.
- Supported Employment: Groups of three or more consumers with a job coach work up to 8 hours per day at integrated work sites. Department of Rehabilitation funded.
- Activity Center: Basic focus is to work on the development and maintenance of functional skills for self advocacy, community integration and employment.
- Behavior Modification Program: Paid work and community integration activities. Functional and behavioral skills training in community or licensed facility.
- Supported Living Services: Support services for consumers who choose to live on their own. Supervision and/or training in skills required for independent living.
- Senior Inclusion Center: For individuals 50 and over, Leisure activities, paid or volunteer work, health maintenance monitoring .
