Summa Academy was founded in 2021 as a school designed to serve students that need a highly individualized education. Our shared passion for providing high quality special education services is what brought us together. Summa Academy is the result of our dream of building a school that offers a top notch education to those students most in need. We believe in delivering extraordinary teaching for our extraordinary learners. Our Founders Neena and Tanya have collectively served the Bay Area special needs community for over 40 years in both the public and private sectors. Find out more about them below.

Summa Academy is a premier Bay Area school serving students with the highest special education needs. Our program helps students from Kindergarten through Sixth grade by providing a completely individualized learning experience that’s tailored to help each child succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.
